A specific component of our Mini Samurai program for preschoolers, Tough Tigers and Juniors programs is teaching respect, and when to use their self defense training and when NOT to use it! We also teach the difference between self defense towards another child and self defense when a ‘tricky’ adult is involved. We find that our students become more confident and stand up to bullies and know they can talk to their teachers, parents and karate instructors. They have more compassion and empathy through their karate training and the many lessons it teaches.
With the current COVID environment we recommend only 1 parent per child watching inside the venue but live stream all our kids classes to our private Facebook Members page so parents can watch outside the venue.
